Speed vs Control: When to Push and When to Brake
Good stunt driving is not constant acceleration. The player has to decide when the next section rewards push and when the safer choice is to trim speed and stabilize the run.
Decision rule
If the next obstacle is unclear, control usually wins. If the path is open and visible, speed becomes more valuable.
